The iconic Nike Air Force 1 is celebrating its 40th birthday and is still part of special collections. One example is the latest offering called "Athletic Department". Inspired by vintage sportswear, the Nike Sportswear collection combines old-fashioned styles with a range of Swoosh favourites. A range of Air Force 1 options join a handful of Air Max designs to complete Nike's trip down memory lane.

Unlike other models, the shoe is finished in an understated, almost monochrome beige hue from top to bottom. Suede covers everything from forefoot to heel and is only interrupted by cream leather covering the swooshes and heel.
