Jerry Lorenzo Shows the Iverson-inspired Nike Air Fear of God 1 "The Question"

Designer Jerry Lorenzo reports about the Nike Air Fear of God 1 "The Question", which also celebrates Allen Iverson and gives us an official release date. Recently, Virgil Abloh announced that Michael Jordan plays a special role in his life.

For Jerry Lorenzo, Michael Jordan is worthy of being considered an icon. But, it’s another basketball player that actually inspired him for this new version.

Sports photographer Gary Land re-enacts the legendary pictures of personal hero Allen Iverson and shows the designer’s Nike Air Fear of God 1 "The Question" in a new light. At the same time, he explains that Allen is more than just a very good basketball player. Jerry also says that the inspiration for the colour-blocking style comes from the Reebok Question Mid—a signature sneaker from the basketball pro.

The Nike Air Fear of God 1 "The Question" is all about tonal colour-blocking. In the middle is a TPU cage supported by a black mini-Swoosh. Other features include a suede toe box and finely tuned seams that show the same tones. The style includes thick black rope laces as well as an elaborate lacing system and a back zipper.

According to Jerry Lorenzo, the sneakers will drop on February 14th in time for the NBA All-Star Game and only in Chicago. So far, a bigger release is not yet known.
